Mundelein Animal Hospital
Boarding
No matter where you’re going, or where you’re coming from, rest assured that our priority is keeping your furry friend happy, healthy and safe.
Overview
We offer pets a first class experience, with nice bedding, raised cots, premium meals (or you can provide their favorite food), fresh water, and daily room service. Our feline guests are kept in a quiet area away from the dogs. Separate boarding kennels keep the animals feeling safe and secure, minimizing stress, and they are let out at least three times daily. All of our animal guests are kept separate during meal time and while sleeping during the night. If pets are members of the same household, they can spend playtime together during the day.
Pet owners can also arrange for other amenities for their pets during their stay such as additional fresh air strolls, tasty peanut butter, ice cream, or kitty exercise ball treats, free leash romping time, and refreshing baths on the day that they return home.
Why should I board my pet?
If you are planning to travel overnight for days, weeks, or even a few months, consider boarding your pet during your trip. Your mind will be at peace knowing that your pet is being taken care of in a safe and secure environment.
When should I drop off my pet for boarding?
Please call our office for a more specific drop-off time when arranging boarding services. In most cases, pet owners will drop-off their pet(s) in the morning of the start of the trip.
How does pet boarding work?
In general, the pets under our care start the day off with a healthy and nutritional breakfast. Pet owners can also arrange grooming services to be done in the afternoon. Before placing your pet in a secure kennel for bedtime, we will give your pet dinner depending on the prearranged meal plan.
