Jay began working professionally with animals back in 2020 when she moved to Illinois from northwest Georgia. She has always had a passion for animals after growing up helping her grandparents with their farm, and seeing her mother work her way to becoming a veterinary technician. She would take Jay to the hospital she worked at once a week to see the animals they had and taught Jay everything she knew about animals/animal care before Jay started independently growing her own career. Through her mother she found an inspiration to be a veterinary technician and would like to go back to school to get certified. One day she dreams to have her own organization dedicated to helping stray animals have proper care and find forever homes. In her free time, you’re most likely to catch her taking long walks/hikes with her fiancé, Shane and pitbull mix, Nova. She also loves going to the beach, reading, photography, art, traveling, music, spending time with friends and family, trying new things and meeting new people.
